Pairing - Ian/Mickey
Genre - Drama/Romance
Rating - M
Status - In Progress

Summary -
If two trains travel in the same direction on parallel tracks, what are the chances of the trains colliding? Slim to none, seeing as one conductor is avoiding the other like a plague. But storms complicate control, and before you know it. . .

This is my thoughts of what would happen five years after the current time in Shameless. I'll be honest, as you'll discover in later chapters, I guessed at the ages of each character. I think I'm mostly accurate. Please comment on this if you read it. It'd be appreciated.

Summary: He crashed to the ground, because gravity didn’t get the memo; gravity didn’t know he was as light as a feather now, and the rules no longer applied to him.
Rating: PG-13 for violence and language

Can you pretend I'm amazing? I can pretend I'm amazing. Instead of what we both now.

Title: The sound of Madness

Author: Roz
Characters: Ian, Mickey, Lip, Mandy
Summary: An AU starting from the point in which Ian runs to Mickey in episode nine. Starting from the words ‘I don’t know where else to go.’
Warnings: Vulgar language, underage drinking

Listening to Gallagher talk the entire way might be enough to drive him nuts, but he would have done it anyway

pairing: Ian/Mickey
rating: Hard R?
word count: ~4000
warnings: Underage sex, (very) underage alcohol and drug use, lots of cursing, misogynistic and homophobic slurs and generally offensive language, (internalized) homophobia, (haha so many warnings omg, but basically what you'd expect for the show), a worryingly high angst-to-plot ratio.
disclaimer: I don't own these characters or the storylines, don't sue me!
summaryThe real problem with Ian Gallagher is that, for such a fucking smartass, he can be a real retard sometimes. He may make good grades in school and have learned all kinds of shit from Lip that no one ever bothered to teach Mickey, but he’s fucked in the way of common sense.
notes: Ahhhh, my first non-TSN fic on this journal!! I was sucked into this fandom and this ship, omg, I went in for the semi-public sex and was sucker-punched by angst and pain. So,
business as usual XD. But seriously, I'm pretty nervous posting this. These guys are pretty different from characters I'm used to writing, so I really hope the characterization isn't too far off. This is more of a character study than anything (plot-lite!); Mickey is really such a fascinating character who seems at war with his own heart, and I wanted to explore that and try out something kinda different. Thanks to [info]woodsward for all her encouragement and supporting my insane descent into this ship!! Hope you like it, babe!
Oh, also, I kind of guessed about the ages? I gathered from the show that Lip and Mickey are approximately two years older than Ian and Mandy but I'm not really sure considering how Mickey seems to age slower than everyone else (how is he STILL young enough to be in juvie, lmao), so, yeah.

When Mickey was in sixth grade, he was best friends with Lip Gallagher. “Best friends” in the loosest sense of the term, because even then, Mickey didn’t really do friends. Mickey didn’t know shit about how to be a nice guy, the kind of guy people would want to be friends with, but Lip did, apparently.

Title: The Given Day
Author: Roz
Fandom: Shameless US
Characters: Ian, Mickey, mentions of Frank, Monica, and Lip.
Summary: At Twenty Two, Ian Gallagher returns from war. Mickey is charged with picking up the pieces.
A/N: This is really pretty much a character study of war. Ian Gallagher is the vessel in which we view war. In this universe, I imagine Ian failed to get into West Point, and once he graduated high school at eighteen, he signed himself up for the marines anyway. After a year, he was deployed. After three years, he is returning home.

Hideous really, the cries boys make when they’re dying. Just hideous.

Ian thinks that he wanted to get into Westpoint, into the Army, into the Marines, into something so badly that the dream had consumed him. It became too bright, he didn’t even notice when it started burning him.
